KAKAMPI MO ANG BATAS.SYNDICATED, ENGLISH. 27 MARCH 2015 SAF 44 not saved, in the name of peace? LIFE’S INSPIRATION: “…Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ…” (Philippians 1:27, the Holy Bible). -ooo- SORRY BUT I COULD NOT GIVE PNOY “UNDERSTANDING”: If you heard President Aquino last Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the 2015 graduation ceremonies of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), were you moved to give him the understanding that he said he wanted badly, to write finis to the Mamasapano massacre on January 25, 2015 where 44 officers and men of the Special Action Force were brutally murdered? If you ask me, I was, as I continue to be, unwilling to give him this understanding, sorry. And I am doing it for one single reason: he himself remained unwilling to disclose the truth about his real participation in the massacre, even if he said that his PNPA speech was going to be the last statement ever he was going to make in connection with the incident. You may ask me: why, what was the truth about Mamasapano? The truth, according to all available accounts of the incident, was that, President Aquino failed, deliberately or otherwise, to act as the President of this country and as the commander-in-chief of the national police to save the lives of the SAF troopers who are said to have successfully killed Malaysian terrorist Zulkifli bin Hir or Marwan. -ooo- FACTS SHOW PNOY SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN UNDERSTANDING: There are facts that would buttress this conclusion of mine. They are: fact one: as per ousted SAF chief Gen. Getulio Napenas, it was President Aquino himself who authorized the Marwan operation, during the closed-door meeting he and the President had, in the company of then suspended PNP Chief Gen. Alan Purisima and one other PNP official. Fact two: President Aquino knew of the grave dangers of the mission, particularly the part where the SAF troopers shall have already accomplished the mission to either arrest or kill Marwan and they had to be extracted, or evacuated, or taken out to safety, from Marwan’s lair which, concededly, was adjacent to the territory of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters. Fact three: because Aquino knew of the dangers of the Marwan mission, he specifically ordered both Purisima and Napenas to make sure that the proper coordination was made with the military contingents in Mamasapano or nearby places at the time of the operation. -ooo- SAF 44 NOT SAVED, IN THE NAME OF PEACE? Fact four: Aquino came to know that Marwan was killed by SAF commandoes at about 7 in the morning, even if Purisima’s text message to him about this matter was received by his cellphone as early as 4 or 5 in the morning of January 25, 2015. Fact five: after Aquino came to know that Marwan was killed, he did not ask Napenas or Purisima as to the condition of the policemen who killed him (the natural reaction of any leader should have been to ask about the policemen who killed Marwan, yet, by his public statements later, Aquino never mentioned having asked about these hapless police officers). Fact six: Aquino flew to Zamboanga City and stayed there from morning till night, with the evident intention to receive Marwan, dead or alive. Yet, during all the time that he was there, the President did not appear to have asked, at the very least, about the welfare of the policemen who managed to kill Marwan. Why? Was it because he knew they were beyond saving because that may endanger his peace agreement with the MILF? -ooo- PLEASE LISTEN: DZEC1062 kHz Manila, 1080 kHz Dagupan City, 711 kHz Naga City, 1260 kHz Lucena City, 1224 kHz Davao City, and www.eaglenews.ph Mondays to Fridays, 6 a.m.; DYKA 801 kHz Panay Island, Yes Radio 88.3 FM, Barobo City, Surigao del Sur, Yes Radio 93.9 FM, Cagwait, Surigao del Sur, Mondays to Fridays, 10 a.m.; 92.7 Smile FM, San Francisco, Agusan Del Sur, Kiss 101.1 FM, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte, Mondays to Fridays, 12 noon; 107.5 Win 107.5 FM, Roxas, Isabela, Saturday, 5:30 a.m., Sunday, 7 a.m. Designed by Arcsin
